Hospital, and other stuff
I have written this story so many times I just can't write it again. I'll just post what I sent in an E-Mail to my Spanish Professor on why I wasn't in class Friday.

Senor Mendez,

It's a good thing we didn't have the test. I was pissed that I missed class.
Here is the tale on why I wasn't there.

I was woken up around 1:30am on Friday to extreme pain in my lower abdomen.
After trying to ignore it for an hour or so, I got up to tell my parents about
it and suggested that I needed to go to the hospital. I arrived there around
3am. After a few questions about my symptoms and a few prods on my stomach to
see where I yelled the loudest, the doctor's came to the conclusion that I
probably had appendicitis.

I was all settled in my hospital room with IV's and pain killers running
through me at 4:12am. At this time I said to my parents that I needed to get
out of here quick cause I needed to take my spanish test and go to work
afterwards. They were ignorant to the importance of the test and said I
couldn't go. Unfortunately the doctors sided with my parents so there was no
escape.

I had to drink this liquid so I could go take a CAT scan, which tasted
horrible, in order for them to see if it was indeed my appendix that was
causing the problems. When they got the images back, they couldn't see a
problem on my appendix partially because I am so skinny. They decided, since I
was in so much pain, that I needed to have the operation anyways. They
scheduled it for 9am on Saturday. Now the present time was 8am Friday. This
meant I couldn't eat or drink anything for 25 hours. I wasn't a very happy
camper.

As time went on, the pain started to vanish. By the time of my scheduled
operation, the pain was pretty much gone. Around 8:50 they checked on me and
decided to cancel the operation and give me some food. Things were finally
starting to look up. They said I could leave at 12:30 and told me I couldn't
work that day (which wasn't good) and that I shouldn't eat anything heavy
(which I completely disregarded by getting a triple cheeseburger meal at Burger
King which is a steal at $2.99).

In short, I did not have any experience that was anywhere close to being fun on
my trip to the hospital. I would rather be in your class having you make fun
of us over being in the hospital any day.

I hope you enjoyed the story. I still have my hospital bracelets on me and the
hole in which the IV was in to prove my stay in South Shore Hospital.

Sincerely,

Nick Vaughan

So that was my hospital visit. Gangs of Fun right there. I can't really remember what else happened. There is some girl in college that looks just about the same as Jess. Infact, her name is Jess! It's freaky! She's damn cute (like Jess) and all punk rocker looking. She is definately a looker. She's a senior in college, so my guess is 21 or 22. Not too much else to add on that. By the way, bowling was bad. 89,66,72 avg 79. Looks like that's going down.
