Soul to Squeeze
April 13, 2003

Well, I've decided on a career. I'm gonna be a black preacher.
Just kidding. I'm not qualified due to my genetic makeup.
But I'll tell ya what, not to place any stereotype, but every black preacher I've heard really fired up the congregations they spoke in. We had a guest speaker at our church tonight, and he certainly threw down my expectations that it would be a boring hour or so. We also had one at Acquire the Fire, and he made me want to clap after about every sentence.
In other news, there is other news. One of the bands I'm in (lol), Plastic Americana, may just go somewhere. We auditioned to play at the River Festival, a big Wichita event. Not only are we the only band to show up so far, but we didn't do half bad. We just might make it. :)
That's about it I think. Recommended eating: Grilled Stufft Burrito w/ Steak by Taco Bell. LoL. That is truly good stuff. :) No, I don't plan on making "recommended eating" a constant thing as recomended listening is.
Now that I think about it though, Recommended Listening deserves to be a proper noun by now. So here goes. Recommended Listening for this entry is The Laziest Man on Mars by The Laziest Men on Mars. A slow, monotonous, yet very groovy song by the authors of the famous All Your Base web animation. You can find them at MP3.com. Enjoi, and goodnight!
