Remember that excited, warm feeling that came over you when you received your
very first review on your very first item? The goal of the "Noticing Newbies Committee" ,
an official Writing.Com project, is to make sure ALL of our new Authors
experience this feeling as soon as they post their first item!

We want new Authors to feel welcome here and understand what this community
can provide, while at the same time engaging them in activity and communication
with other members. Although our official committee is based of Mods and Staff
only, all members are encouraged to review and welcome new members!

We've released three (3) brand new emoticons for your creative use!

:: New WritingML Colors ::
We've also released four (4) more colors to brighten your text!
         This color is rose.
         This color is light green.
         This color is light teal.
         This color is black.
                   Black is useful for color rotations.

:: New WritingML Code ::
Last, but certainly not least, we're releasing a brand new ML Code: Strikethrough.
When giving sending reviews or showing revisions, now you could can show what
needs to be or has been updated. Adding color is an even best better way to
show revisions! Here's an example:
         {x}this is strikethrough{/x}   produces   this is strikethrough
