Discovering the Fellowship
As most people know, LOTR is the best movie
ever made, and the actors in it are so perfectly
cast and phenominal. It has made the careers
of several new faces. Which is very cool.

Elijah was obviously the first actor I knew, from
Flipper and The Faculty (I'm not usually a
horror movie watcher, but I made an exception
for this one! ^_^) I don't have a huge "I've seen
that" movie base, so most of the actors I saw
in FOTR and then recognised in other movies,
like Sir Ian McKellan in X-Men and Dracula
2000. It took me a while of surfing the net to
figure Mikey and Sam were one and the same,
then it was like DUH! They so are! That IS
Sean Astin! (My friends told me that he
directed an ep of Angel which so made
me want to see it more, NOT.) I don't know if
I'm game enough to see Encino Man, cos
Brendan Frasier's a bit freaky *yeek!*

No, I have not as yet see Wilde just for
Orli's part in it (tho I'm tempted...) But the guys
you've gotta luv the most are Billy and Dom,
both of which I'd never heard of before the
movie. I am ashamed to say I couldn't tell
Merry and Pippin apart the first time I saw
FOTR (It's not just me!). They're both
FANTASTIC!!!!!! When I discovered Dom was
on Hetty Waithropp Investigates, which my
best friend had been watching for centuries
(and conveniently wasn't on when I found out) I
was very distraught, and I waited MONTHS!
When I found out it was on UKTV, it was cause
for celebration. Coke, chocolate and cheers
when his name came up on screen (followed
by much gushing when his face came up...
*LOL*) Geoffrey is so cute (Damn you Janet!)
He's so Adorable! Page 153 in my copy of
LOTR: The Making of the Movie Trilogy is the
most well read! (Fell down, flat on his face, he
would! One time, in a cactus!)

So the intense bit in Fangorn which M+P did
was obviously my fav scene. ("There'll
be no Shire, Pip." *sob*)

Anyone who hasn't seen LOTR yet should do
so NOW. The books are harder to
tackle, but very good and worth reading
(BEFORE the Silmarillion, Ellie!!!) The Hobbit
is cool too! (I illustrated it for Art last year, not
all of it, but the cover. It's cool. The book that
is.)

I can't wait for the third movie!!! I am going to
bawl my eyes out so much. As Dom said, it'll
break hearts, and I can well believe it.
