One Last Shot

July 5, 2002

         Okay. I lied. I'm giving her one
last shot.
         An old friend of mine signed on just in
time today. We talked for a long time. About
everything. About the Corvette. Sigh...
         Well it was my friend's suggestion that
I send some of my poetry to the Corvette. Well
I was hesitant at first. She and I haven't talked
for a couple weeks, and wouldn't it be kinda
awkward if I suddenly whipped out all my
sappy poetry? Well...Another friend of mine
said I should do it too. So I did. I sent her
"Invalid Item" . Well that's my last shot. If it
doesn't work, if after reading that she doesn't
forgive me, then I'm really through this time. I
hope she hears me.
