[NOTICE] Sponsored Items Now On Timed Update!

As of this NOTICE, the Sponsored Item bids are no longer pulled "live" from the database; they are generated every 2 minutes by a timed process.

This means, if you add, change or delete a bid, it may take up to 2 minutes for the Sponsored Bid areas (including the Gold Sponsored Items, Front Page Top 5 and Right Hand Column Top 10) to reflect your change. (This does not effect the bidding area for Items by Type and Genre listings!)

The bids displayed on the "My Bids" page will continue to be updated in real time to help ensure easy bidding.

As bids were being checked twice per page (once for gold and once for the right column) this reduce the load from the bid system from about 15,000 queries per hour to 30 queries per hours- a decrease of 500%.
