My So-Called Perfunctory Existence

Cross Your Fingers!

It has to be about a thousand degrees in my
house right now. I took up the quest for a pool
and begged my way into my neighbors' for
awhile so at least I didn't melt. Then I locked
myself away to crack down on my college
research. Only 3387 choices left! ; )

Anyways I'm anxious because I have to get out
early tomorrow and have my orthodonist stare
at me for awhile to determine if my damned
braces will come off. I've had these things on
for 6 years! I've had it! I swear, if I don't have
the prettiest smile after all this...grrrr.
Tomorrow is the "evaluation" meaning either
they look at me and say no the braces are
staying a little longer and then on August 9
they come off OR they take them off tomorrow
and fit me for the retainer on the 9th. I'll wear
the retainer for the next 20 years if that's what it
takes! Just get this metal outta my mouth!
