My So-Called Perfunctory Existence

You call it jogging, I call it running around

Well what does Nicole do when no one's
home or can hang out and she can't use the
car on a Wednesday night in North Haven?
She goes for a long needed jog! Yes, for once
in my life I got out and went for a late night jog,
something I've been intending to do for quite
sometime. It was enjoyable actually. I mean
despite the fact that my neighbors will
probably confront me about running around at
10 pm, it was fun. The temperature was
around 75 and the stars were out and it was
dead quiet. I really enjoyed it, even though I
wish I could have been hanging out with my
friends tonight or something. It was like I
finally got time to just relax and stop thinking
and just RUN. Heck I even threw in a few
backyard sprints! Then I just collasped on my
driveway and watched the stars and the
airplanes. It was fun.
We lost last night's softball game. And once
again, I did the same screwup thing I do every
year, with out fail. It's the classic problem
situation. Two outs, bases just about or just
loaded, it's the end of the game, everything
depends on this---and I'm up. So I choked
and messed up. Well at least this time I didn't
flip out like last year...but that's another story.
We have another game tomorrow...me thinks
another loss is on the way.
