My So-Called Perfunctory Existence

And we've reached the screw-up inning...and we're stuck here

For starters: our softball team has a problem
we fondly refer to as the "screw-up inning"
which is basically when we screw ourselves
over with errors galore. It's a major
embarrassment. And as for today's game, we
had one BIG screw-up inning. Nothing
seemed to go right for us. Let me put it this
way-I think final score was 24-7. Mercy rule?
At one point we figured that if we hit 4 grand
slams in our last ups, we could take the game
into OT. Sure, I'm still crossing my fingers for
that to happen.
On a happier note I was pleasantly surprised
that John came to the game. That was nice
but I have no idea how you figured all about
the game (were you talking to Ann or
something because I don't think I mentioned
any specifics). But thanks for coming.
Maybe we'll win next time...ha ha!
Anybody have an good training tips for a
softball team. Or more personally-how do you
slide? I can't seem to do that...my face is still
hurting
