A poem using synecdoche - ICC Champions Trophy
Hearts pounding, cheers resounding
Heads bending, prayers trending
Hands clapping, feet tapping
A million spectators yell

Eyes gleaming, youth dreaming
Lips grinning - team winning!
Throats go hoarse, of course!
The crowd runs pell-mell!

Ball on bat, take that!
It's a four, voices roar

The game is done, INDIA WON
Come, ring the temple bell!

Our nation has a fascination
For cricket, all we can get
It's our passion, always in fashion
This is where world champs dwell.
