Dreams Do Come True Entry One for Monthly Contest

Always recalled
The date he met his fate,

When he found
the girl of his dreams.

For eight long years,
He dreamed of this day
Her face haunting
His nightly reveries.

Then one late August evening,
She stepped off a bus
And into his life.

Three days later,
He knelt down and proposed.
With a smile, she said yes.

For the next forty-three years,
He cherished the memory
Of that fateful August night.
