How are the newly imposed tariffs affecting you? Did you realize how many products we use every day aren't grown or created in the states or in Canada or Mexico?

I honestly don't know yet. I can see how it's affecting us, the consumer, figuratively. However, I can understand that we have resources we could benefit from more locally. I know that America has been giving its wealth to other countries while accumulating a large debt. I don't have all the answers, but at least someone is trying to do something about the situation. As with any financial adjustment, there will be moments that aren't exactly desirable on either side of the coin. You kind of have to choose your evil. I think Americans should be aware of the goods we are getting from other countries. I just think we are only able to see a part of the bigger picture right now. There is so much corruption in high places, who really knows what to believe any more. Politics is one huge garbled up mess right now and so is the rest of the world being on the edge of war.

I think this is implying that any amount of progress is progress and counts as such. Sometimes, speed can matter if there is a deadline involved, but most of the time, even with deadlines, we have to realize our accomplishments no matter how small and in spite of missed deadlines or failures.
