Wise Advice

Neither a borrower nor a lender be,
was advice that my father gave to me,
and I found, in all the years that followed,
the saying was very far from hollow.

But I have taken it beyond the core
to make it useful for much more;
the best advice that comes from me:
“No follower nor a leader be.”
