A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Because of the Weather I could have waited until yesterday evening to post my blog entry. After all, I didn’t go to work yesterday evening because of the weather. I couldn’t get my car out of my driveway, let alone off my street, because it was blocked at both ends by this snowstorm yesterday. I also could have worked on updating Part Two of my Water Wars scriptwriting project yesterday evening. I didn’t, though. I was so upset that I couldn’t return to work, and I didn’t feel like writing. Besides, I was worried about what I would write if I did any writing yesterday evening. I was worried I would have to rewrite it today. That’s how bad I was feeling about not returning to work yesterday. It could have been worse, though. After all, yesterday evening was a six-hour shift. It would have been worse if it had been Friday evening or late Saturday afternoon. Friday is an eight-hour shift, and Saturday is a twelve-hour shift. By missing yesterday evening, I only lost six hours. Missing six work hours is much better than missing eight or twelve hours. I didn’t miss that six work hours because of my replacement lately. I have had to work about three hours extra over the last two or three weeks because my replacement didn’t come in on time. It was about a half hour late for the last couple of weeks, but three weeks ago, it was about two hours and fifteen minutes. I was mad about that until now. I can only work so many hours every week before I start losing my retirement. I would have to do this every week for a month before losing anything. So getting a couple of extra hours in at work doesn’t matter. But it does because I don’t want who I work for now to rely on me. I was still slightly upset today because of yesterday evening, which affected my writing. Luckily, updating the Part Two Act Breakdown, the Story Outlines, and the Scene Outlines for my sentences wasn’t as hard as I thought. I had to update only the Teaser Act and Act One, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. It appears the rest of these Part Two sentences will remain the same, so I can start working on my paragraphs again for this project. I will continue doing that after I review the rest of Part Two. I still need to review the rest of Part Two, but that shouldn’t be a problem. When I started updating my Act Breakdown, I noticed that only the Teaser Act and Act One would be affected by this update. I won’t know that until I review Part Two's rest. |
