Friendship
Monday May 27th 9.30PM Sternwood Hospitality & Financial Services.

Prudence jumps at the sound of the knock on her office door, she clutches her chest as her heart beat races. "I'm sorry Prudence, did I startle you?" Inquires Holly Stewart with a hint of concern that she gave Prudence a heard attack.

Prudence looks up "You did, I thought I was the only one here, why are you here so late?"

Holly places a stack of papers on her desk beside her keyboard "I've been analysing employees present and past that may have a grudge!"

Prudence scans through the list briefly "Can you do up a summary tomorrow morning with each name. Rosamund and I can then make quicker decisions, you didn't have to stay back and do it!"

"No" states Holly with determination in her tone "I wanted to get as much progress as this tonight as possible and try and get it moving".

Prudence adjusts her glasses on her nose and steeples her hands "thank you Holly, I really appreciate it but it could have waited until tomorrow, sometimes fresh eyes can give fresh ideas!".

Holly nods in agreement "True but once I got started I wanted to make progress, anyways my friend Todd, let me down."

"Oh" asks Prudence "Who's Todd, a boyfriend?" she asks stretching a small smile from her taut lips.

Holly flaps her hands laughing "No, a friend, very unreliable. Was meant to be going to Ristorante Napoli tonight, then last week asked to change it from tonight to tomorrow evening and then just cancelled and its soooooooooo hard to get a table there. Have you ever been?"

Prudence circles with her left index finger, once it's quiet a charming little restaurant but a little too compact for me".

"You know!", Holly pauses for a moment "Perhaps you would like to join me Prudence, be a shame to waste the table, it's for 8.30pm, I can see if I can get later but even then I was lucky the got a cancellation and I could get in".

Prudence thought momentarily, perhaps a meal out with Holly would be a good thing. She checks her diary on her work calendar and books up the time slot.

She looks up and adjusts her glasses on her nose and smiles briefly "that would be lovely thank you!".
