A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Thirty-Seven Isn’t Bad It’s not too good either. After all, it was a twelve-hour shift that I wrote these paragraphs for the Episode Three Scene Outline for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. That equals three paragraphs every hour or about twenty minutes for every paragraph. It should have been better numbers. Why weren’t the numbers better? I don’t know the answer to that question because I don’t know why I didn’t get more written yesterday evening and overnight today at work. The only reason I can think of is the weather. We had some snow yesterday, and it was also cold. I don’t think the weather was why I didn’t write more paragraphs for this project. The weather may have affected me some, but not that much. So, why didn’t I write more yesterday and overnight? I know it wasn’t from a lack of sleep. I don’t think it was from a lack of concentration, either. I may never know the answer to this question. It doesn’t matter, though. No matter how many hours I worked yesterday evening and overnight today, thirty-seven paragraphs written in one day is good writing. It may not be for other writers, but it is for me. I only have fifteen more numeric scene paragraphs to write before I end this episode Three. I don’t think I have any more Establishing Shots for this Tag Act. So I could finish this episode tonight. That’s if I work on it tonight at work. I’m up in the air about that. Before I started writing this blog entry, I checked, and there isn’t a prompt for the WDC Short Story contest yet. So, I will have the opportunity to finish Episode Three, Floating Weapons. The question is whether I can do it tonight when I return to work. I have six hours to write fifteen paragraphs. Even at three paragraphs every hour, twenty minutes for each paragraph, I should get the fifteen paragraphs I need to finish this episode. I doubt I will be getting started with Episode Four, Probable Death, tonight, but I may. After I post this blog entry, I will check to see if the new WDC Short Story prompt has been posted. I doubt it has, but it will be the last chance to check on it before I go to work. After all, I have no internet connection to check on it at work unless I use my cell phone. The new WDC Short Story prompt will probably be posted overnight tonight, most likely tomorrow or Tuesday. So, I may still have another two days to work on Episode Four. Whenever this prompt is posted, I will start working on this Short Story when it does. |
