Cinnamon on Thanksgiving
Sarah Addison Allen said, "November, looks like the world was covered in a cobbler crust of brown sugar and cinnamon.” Let's talk about desserts, especially ones with brown sugar and cinnamon that you love.

Invalid Merit Badge #698735 Hi.

I really like apple crisp. I stopped eating it and making it years ago. I bet I have not had any in 30 years. I do make apple pie now, which is just as good. I can make it with a quarter of a cup of sugar. Another favorite is snickering doodle muffins. Put in a little extra cinnamon to make them tasty. When I cook, I don't usually use brown sugar for anything. I have not used brown sugar in several years. I use cane sugar. for baking. Most cooky recipes take 2 cups of sugar. I only use one.

Cinnamon can be added to sugar cookie recipe if you want to experiment with flavor. We like lemon flavoring here. Lemon meringue pie, lemon bar cookies, lemon cake mix cookies.

I make muffins, because they use less sugar. Lots of flavor with fruit; blueberry applesauce muffins have cinnamon, banana muffins quicker than banana bread and last longer it is a large recipe. Going to try cranberry recipe for Thanksgiving.

Have a great day. I lost my computer again yesterday. Using Keiths again.
