Exciting Progress and A Beloved Veteran

I finished off chapters 5 and 6 of "ConquerOpen in new Window.. I did not reach my word count goal for the day, but I think I can catch up and still reach 50000 words by the end of the month. I am so happy with my progress. Thoroughly outlining the novel really helped me. I hope that "Passion Meets Her Match" will be just as easy to write.

For Blogging Circle of Friends

My grandfather served in World War II. He was generally quiet and didn't say much, but ask him about the War and watch out. When he was talking about what he and his war buddies did back then was the only time I could really call him long winded. We wear poppies here in Canada to commemorate the brave men and women that sacrificed so much to defend the freedom we enjoy. He was the first one to put a poppy on my shirt and tell me what it meant. I always try to make a donation during the month of November to the Veterans and get my poppy. I am proud to wear one every year.

Poppy died in 2001. I will never forget him or everything he brought to my life.
