Busy Weekend and Scary Stories

Our cat Tiddles has had a busy weekend. It is Fall and that means that the mice are trying to find a warm place to spend the Winter and find food. Since Saturday she has caught two. They come in through a hole behind the stove and somewhere in the boil room. We don't fear mice around here. At Saturday, though, I knew that I still have to calm down. You see, I am terrified of mice, and on Saturday she brought me a dead one. She hopped on the bed, and I thought she had brought me her ball in order to play until I saw the legs hanging out of her mouth. I screamed and she ran off, but had dropped the tiny corpse in the kitchen, so my husband was able to get it. She does this as a sign that she is trying to provide for us, and I know that it needs to be taken that way. I want her to keep giving me this loving gift. It just gives me the willies.

For Blogging Circle of Friends

I was going to say that I didn't know any Halloween type stories, but there is one. "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". I only read it once a long time ago, but it will always be my favorite scary story. I am used to creepy stories told around the campfire more.

Personalized ehh This is a new sig for my emails and posts.
