That Leaves Four More

Unfortunately, I only got three sections written today for my WDC Short Story that I’m writing this month. Why did I just write ‘unfortunately?’ It’s because I was hoping that I would get at least four done today. I knew I wouldn’t have gotten more than four parts written today. But I was hopeful I would get the fourth one written.

I’m not surprised I only got three done. After all, I wasn’t sure I would be two of them written. It took me almost the entire afternoon to finish the first two sections today. I only had about two hours to finish writing the third part today. Why didn’t I have more time to finish writing the third section today?

I don’t know the answer to that question because I don’t know why I had so much trouble getting to that third part today. All I know is that I knew what I wanted to write most of the time. But I didn’t know how to write it. I also know that some of that delay was because the first half of this WDC Short Story needed some rewriting.

The first two parts of this WDC Short Story finished the first half of it. Unfortunately, I was a little bit over a thousand words. I needed to do some rewriting of the first five sections. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be though. But it did take me some time to do it. As a result, I barely got the third part written today.

My brother and I had a few things we needed to get done today. That’s another reason why I barely got three sections written today. We didn’t have a lot that my brother and I needed to do today. But it did take us about an hour to do it. It was in the middle of the fourth and fifth part. So, I don’t think it was that much of a distraction.

Whatever the reason why I didn’t get more than three sections written today, I still have four more parts to write before I finish writing this WDC Short Story. I would like to think I could get all four sections written tomorrow. But I know I won’t be doing that. I’m hoping I will get at least two of them written tomorrow, though.

I hope that I can get three parts written tomorrow. If I can get three sections tomorrow too, that will leave only one part left to write on Monday. That’s the best way to go. After all, Mondays are notorious for me not getting too much writing done on them. If I only get two sections written tomorrow, that may be okay though.

The only problem with me getting only two parts written tomorrow and Monday is that I may not be creating this WDC Short Story until Tuesday. I may have time to create it on Monday if I do have two parts left to write on Monday. But there is also a very good possibility that I won’t be creating it until Tuesday.

It’s up in the air whether I can get two to four sections written tomorrow and how many more parts I will still need to write on Monday. It is also up in the air when I will be creating this WDC Short Story. All I do know is that it will probably be Monday or Tuesday before I can finish writing and creating this WDC Short Story.
