Part Two of a Two-Parter

Part One of this two-parter was just posted on my ‘Only My Scriptwriting’ blog. This is Part Two, and it’s about the WDC Short Story prompt that has already been posted for this month. This is what I have working on for what little time I had for writing today.

I don’t know about my second Short Story that I may or may not be writing this month. Just before I started writing these blogs, I checked on it too. At first, I thought that it was the prompt for this month. But it was just a question from a writer asking if there would be a prompt this month.

Luckily, I also checked to see if the WDC Short Story prompt had been posted, and it had. So, I Copied and Pasted it to a new Word document. I have been working on it with what little time I had left in the day. Unfortunately, I only had a few hours to work on it.

It didn’t take me long before I came up with a Short Story for this prompt. I could have remembered a Science Fiction Short Story for this prompt. But since is the month of Halloween, I decided to write it as a non-Science Fiction. Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten too far with it yet.

I try to write a few paragraphs detailing my short stories. They aren’t part of my short stories. But they help to write them. That is what I have been doing today, working on these paragraphs. I haven’t gotten to my single sentences or the physical part of writing it yet.

At first, I didn’t think I would have too much time to work on it tomorrow. After all, my brother and I were returning to our old place to pick up some more of our things. But we decided to go on Thursday instead. As a result, I will have time to work on this Short Story tomorrow.
