I was supposed to meet with Audrey last week, but I thought the appointment was for 1:00 pm.
Turned out is was for 11:00 am. Audrey told me today not to worry about it, but I still feel it was a bad first impression.

We met today in The Lotus Cafe inside CMH. She looked up to see if they still had my resume and if it was too long since I last worked with the program to skip the paperwork. It was too long so we started almost from scratch. Something tells me I don't want to know what is on the resume.

We wrote down some things I wouldn't do, which was good. No fast food. No cleaning toilets.
Then we wrote what I would like to do: Anything to do with writing, of course, Editing, Clerical work, Mentoring and Counseling.
My main goal is basically the same as it was: To become a Peer Support and work my way up to a Therapist.

She told me BWROC offers free classes in Addiction counseling. I'll have to check it out.

We filled out a request for a voucher for Salvation Army and she is going to see the next time Harbor Impact is open.

She gave me something to think about: The first thing an interviewer usually asks is "Tell me a little about yourself." Definitely something to keep in mind.

We're meeting again Thursday, September 26th at 11:00 am.
