New Month, New Short Story

The prompt for this month came in sometime yesterday. I didn’t know about it until I posted my entry for my ‘Only My Scriptwriting’ blog. When I did see this prompt, I went to it. At first, I didn’t know if I would enter this contest this month. But after thinking about it a little bit, I decided I would.

It didn’t take me long to remember a Short Story to fit this prompt. Unfortunately, I didn’t remember it until almost before I went to sleep last night. So, I didn’t get to start working on it until today. well, that isn’t exactly true. I did have time to create a title for this prompt. And I wrote a Title Description for it too.

Last night wasn’t a total loss, though. Before I went to sleep I thought about this Short Story. By the time, I fell to sleep I had it written in my head. All I needed to do was write it. As soon as I got up this morning, I started working on this Short Story. Unfortunately, all I got written was the planning part.

As of right now, this is the only Short Story I will be writing this month. The usual second Short Story contest I have been writing for hasn’t prompted yet. So, I don’t know if I will be writing a Short Story for this contest yet. It sometimes takes two or three days or a week before I get a prompt for this contest if I get one at all.

Tomorrow, I will start writing this Short Story. But I don’t know how much of it I will get done tomorrow. After all, I’m sure my brother and I have a few things we need to do tomorrow. hopefully, it won’t take us all day to do them. I don’t think it will. So, I should have at least a few hours to work on this Short Story.
