Vision of Tarot
For my second July book, I picked a sequel to my first July book. It's called Vision of Tarot and Piers Anthony picks it up exactly where he left off.

Brother Paul, the monk from the first book, is still on the planet, Tarot and still trying to understand who is the real God and if he is causing the "animations".

In this book, the animations become even stranger, not to mention longer, than they were in the first book. They seem to involve actually travelling through time. In one extended animation, Brother Paul apparently experiences his college reunion accompanied by a daughter who hasn't been born yet.

But the strangest comes when he actually goes to first century Israel and meets Jesus himself. This is probably the most controversial part. The animation suggests a somewhat controversial explanation for the identity of Jesus which may offend some readers, but it is fascinating nonetheless.

But once again, the book ends without any firm conclusions regarding the identity of the God on the planet. There is one more book in the trilogy. I will probably read it, but not for the Reading Club.
