The Lord Remembers

The Lord remembers, ne'er forgets,
and knows what is the Truth.
He's kind to those His Mercy lets,
and keeps these from their youth.

The Lord remembers all He chose,
and loses not a one.
The daily Gospel each one knows
as His Own blood-bought son.

The Lord remembers every time,
and shows He's faithful, now,
through ev'ry hardy uphill climb,
in worship moments bow.

The Lord remembers every sin
of unredeem-ed man,
but on the cross His Blood did win,
no human effort can.

The Lord remembers, once forgave,
no sin forevermore
will come back through the open grave
to pilfer, nor explore.

The Lord remembers, once redeemed,
we're ne'er condemned, again.
Through His Great Sacrifice esteemed,
His chosen among men.

The Lord remembers, can't forget
the ones, He chose to save.
He's taken our eternal threat.
The enemy He drave.
