Two More Equals Half

It has been another busy day for my brother and I. Not as busy as it was yesterday. But it was still busy. So busy I only had about four hours to work on my WDC Short Story for this month. Unfortunately, I only had time to write two more sections/parts for this Short Story.

Because of yesterday, I was hoping that I would get at least one more part/section written today. But that didn’t happen. It was mostly my fault I didn’t get more written today on this project. I should have gotten at least one more section/part written today. So, why didn’t I?

A lot of the reason why I didn’t get more writing done today was because of what my brother and I needed to do today. Being a Sunday, I didn’t think we had that much that we needed to do today if we had anything to do. But I was wrong about that.

My brother and I didn’t have too much we needed to do today. But what we did need to do shouldn’t have taken so long for us to do it. If I had known before getting up today, I would have gotten up an hour or two earlier. Only I didn’t know about it until after I got up today.

As a result, instead of having five or six hours to work on this WDC Short Story, I only had about four. If I had one or two extra hours, I probably would have gotten another part/section written today. Normally, that wouldn’t matter. But after yesterday, it does. At least it does to me.

Tomorrow is a Monday, and Mondays are often busy for my brother and I. As far as I know, we don’t have anything we need to do tomorrow. But I’m sure we do. Hopefully, it won’t take us all day to do it. The more time I have to work on this WDC Short Story the better.

I was hoping that I could get the two short stories I want to write this month done in a couple of weeks. That’s probably not going to happen. It will probably take another three or four days to finish writing this WDC Short Story. Hopefully, it won’t take me that long.

I’m halfway through this WDC Short Story. That means I only have five sections/parts left to write before I finish this Short Story. Hopefully, I can do that in a couple of days. But based on yesterday, it will probably be three days if I’m lucky. I haven’t been too lucky lately.

It’s not just the time I have to write, though. The lack of sleep and concentration, and the weather can cause me to get less writing done. I didn’t have a lack of sleep because I got plenty of sleep last night. But a lack of concentration and the weather I may have gotten.

The weather was hot again today. That always makes me feel weak and tired. It can and usually does affect my lack of concentration. I have felt that way today. Could it be the reason why I didn’t get more writing done today? It could have. But I don’t think it did.
