Her Story Prompt 7 Shining Moon
Athena's father the King, had planned this ball at the castle because he wanted to marry her off to a Noble or someone with a title. There were no Princes available. A princess. She was expected to marry. She was sixteen and her father was choosing her a husband tonight. She hated every man she knew. She ran outside. She had enough of meeting men and people. Let the dark swallow her up. It was really dark outside and Athena had went too far. The moon was bright and she could see the torches all lit. Now, she was by the woods. She heard a howling noise. A wolf! She was scared. The wolf knocked her down. This was the end.It was grey and white. He batted at her and licked her face. A friendly wolf. She smiled. She liked him.

Athena heard noises and someone else was with her. She saw seven men with torches and they smelled. One had an earring in his ear. They were dressed shabby. Great. Pirates. The one pirate grabbed her and she screamed. The wolf attacked the men. The men screamed. She heard a man say leave her alone. She got a look at the man. He had dark hair and was dressed like a gentleman. He was handsome. The gentleman had a gun and he shot it in the air and ran the pirates off and the wolf chased them as well.

The man said he was Lord Quentin McFarland.

"I am Athena. You and the wolf saved me from the pirates."

"You are the Princess. Shall I escort you back to the castle?"

" Thank you." Lord Quentin escorted Athena back to the castle.

The King liked Lord Quentin and Athena liked him and they were married. The wolf became their pet. A full moon had bought them together. The moon does have magic.
