Write a story about a warrior who doesn't want to kill the dragon. The young warrior was all dressed in protective armor. He was ready to kill the dragon. He didn't really want to kill the dragon. He rode his horse to the woods and he saw the dragon's cave on the hill by the ocean. He hitched his horse to the tree. He climbed up the hill carefully. Now, he was on the cliff. He stood by the cave. The warrior drew his sword and slowly walked into the cave. It was time to kill the dragon. The warrior saw the dragon. He was all turquoise with a green belly. The dragon looked at the warrior. He didn't growl. He didn't breathe fire. He didn't look dangerous. The warrior didn't want to kill the dragon. This beast hadn't done anything to him. The warrior lifted his sword but the dragon looked at him with his big, gold eyes. He was a beautiful dragon. The dragon opened his mouth. Oh no. He was going to breathe fire. The warrior prepared himself for the worst. He heard the dragon say he didn't want to die. He had a mate and two baby hatchlings. He wanted to teach his children. He had human feelings how to surviveand enjoy his mate and their children. The dragon hadn't spoken but had talked to the warrior with his mind. The warrior thought about his wife. She was pregnant with his child. Why should he kill the dragon? The King promised to make him a knight. The warrior raised his sword again. Just then he heard cooing and growling sounds but they weren't threatening. He saw two baby dragons. One was blue and one was green. They ran up to the warrior. The warrior dropped his sword. He hugged the baby dragons and they rubbed up against him. The warrior cried. He wasn't going to kill the dragon. The warrior told the dragon he was sorry. He and his wife were having a baby. He wasn't going to kill him. He told him to raise his children with his mate. The dragon was going to be spared. The warrior bowed down to the dragon. He picked up his sword and left. The warrior used the sword to cut his leg and wiped the blood on his sword. Everyone would think he killed the dragon. The dragon could live his life in peace with his mate and children. The warrior would be knighted by the King. The warrior was glad he didn't kill the beautiful dragon. I wish dragons wouldn't have been killed in stories. 438 Words |
