Gateway to Peace - Week 30
When life’s burdens lay heavy on your heart,
When the pain your own strength defeats,
Set aside struggle and bid grief depart,
For prayer is the gateway to peace.
When the world seems nought but sickness and death,
If from your worries you would have ease,
Then seek the One with life-giving breath,
For prayer is the gateway to peace.
Though this life brings trouble, worry and care,
One day earthly problems will cease,
Give them to God in faith, through prayer,
For prayer is the gateway to peace.
