Luck Of The Irish
Prompt: Since yesterday was St.Patrick's Day, what do you think of the lucky Irish?

They lived through the potato famine. The Irish weren't accepted when they first came to the United States but things worked out for them. Leprechauns. If you find one, you can get a pot of gold. Fairies and fantasy. Celtic times. Celtic warriors. Celtic women led soldiers into battle. I know. Where is this headed? They are still standing like the rest of us. St. Patrick was a saint and the Irish think he bought them luck. Irish music. Irish dancing. Ireland is so green. Ireland is beautiful. The castles are neat and still standing. The Irish like to drink. With all their history and fantasy creatures, they feel lucky I think. I am always envied Ireland and England. You don't want to get me started on England. I think getting back to Ireland, shamrocks are considered good luck. With everything I said, I think Ireland feels lucky. I wish I was Irish. I am part English. I think we could use some more good luck in life.

The Irish had good luck finding gold in the mines more then anyone. With all I have said, I think this is probably the main reason for the luck of the Irish. Erin Go Baugh.
