Tick tock
goes the clock
Short hand at 3
Long hand at 12.
15 minutes until the weekend.
15 minutes until freedom.

Time passes by, oh, so slowly.
"Work for 15 minutes" says the teacher.
We get to work.

I finish my math
English
Science
but the bell doesn't ring.

I glance back up at the clock
and it is still 3!

Whispers turn to murmurs
then turn to talking
and full-out screaming,
"Let us out!"

I never thought I'd say this,
but I hate Friday!
