Your mama says to not be mean,
don't ever make an ugly scene.

Just wait it out and hold it in,
tamp feelings down with facile grin.

We cannot cross a bridge that’s burned,
but grievance saved is grievance earned.

Then one last straw, surprise attack!
‘cuz wait will break a camel’s back.
