Despite a Slow Start

I thought that I had my old laptop usable again. When I first got up this morning, I tried to get it up and running again. While trying to get to sleep last night I thought that having VPN on was the reason for me not getting a Wi-Fi connection. After turning the VPN off, it seemed to work.

Not only did I have a Wi-Fi connection, but I could connect to my home Wi-Fi. For the next few hours, I was using that Wi-Fi connection. But when I got on my laptop again to start doing this blog entry, it said I didn’t have any Wi-Fi connection. So, I went back to my new laptop again.

It looks like I will be stuck with my new laptop after all. I have one more laptop I can try. But I’m not too hopeful it’s going to work either. I hope it does. But that’s what I thought about the old one. And it didn’t work out. So, I’m not hopeful this one will work either.

It's not a total loss today, though. Despite all my laptop problems, I did manage to get two sections/parts written on my WDC Short Story this month. Because I did it on my old laptop, I was worried that I didn’t get it written after all. But I just checked. And it is there.

With two parts/sections written, that means I only have eight left to write and seven more days to write them. Of course, I don’t want to wait until the last minute to get this written. So, I only have four more days off from work to finish writing this Short Story.

If I can do two per day like I did today, I should be able to get this Short Story done within those four days. I may not be able to post it then. But I should be able to finish it. Two a day shouldn’t be that much of a problem. Not even on a Monday. But it could be.

In three of the four days, that I need to finish writing this WDC Short story, I can probably get two sections/parts written. It’s next Monday that I’m not sure about. I can get two parts/sections done next Monday too. Then again, I might not. It’s up in the air when it comes to Mondays.

It all depends on how busy my brother and I are in the next four days as to whether I can get two sections/parts written in these days. Except for next Monday, I don’t think that my brother and I have too much that needs to be done those days.

If that’s true about my brother and I not having too much that needs done, I should be able to get at least six more parts/section done over the next four days off from work. I think that I can get them done next Monday too. But I’m not going to count on that happening until it does.
