A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Three More Than Yesterday This may be a new record for a weekday. I know that I have done at least one thirty-six. And I know that I just did a thirty-five yesterday. But I can’t remember if I have done more than thirty-six single paragraphs on a weekday. For some reason, I think I have done a forty and a forty-two. Is that right? Have I done a forty and a forty-two? Come to think about it. I think that I did write forty-two single paragraphs in one day. Unfortunately, that day was on the weekend. Saturday a week or two ago, I think. That’s probably where I remember the forty-two from. It’s hard to forget something like that. After all, it did happen on the weekend and not one of my weekdays. I’m still not sure about the forty, though. It could be a new record high for a weekday. Then again, it may not be. I could try to search ‘forty’ in my blog entry search. But I don’t have the time to do that right now. Whether thirty-eight is a new record or not, it’s still very good to me after the weeks I have been having lately. I seem to be going in spurts lately. One week I don’t get too much writing and the next I do get a lot of single paragraphs and scenes written for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. This week I’m getting more written on this project. hopefully, it will stay that way for next week too. But if my spurts continue it won’t. Almost finished Act Two of the third episode of my Water Wars television series. If I had another twenty minutes earlier today at work, I probably would have gotten this Act finished. Unfortunately, I didn’t have that twenty minutes. I had about fifteen. With fifteen minutes, I may have been able to get two single paragraphs written. Maybe three single paragraphs written. But all four needed to finish Act Two. I usually only get about four to six single paragraphs written in the first hour of my shifts. Unfortunately, lately it’s been four if I’m lucky. If it is four tomorrow, I will get this Act written within the first hour of my shift here starting in just over two hours. The second half of this episode consists of ninety scenes. If this is a normal weekend, I will get about forty to forty-five scenes written over this weekend. It will probably be closer to forty than forty-five. That will leave about forty-five to fifty scenes to write before I finish writing this script. With my job at this post ending next Friday, I wouldn’t be able to do that. But my job has been extended until December the twenty-second. So, I have all of my shift next week to work on this project. I should be able to finish writing this script by the end of next weekend. That means I could start writing Episode Four next weekend too. |
