I tell you there is nothing better for getting perspective than a bottle of scotch

Today is a good day, slept very little but had some good ideas which I jotted down, only a few thousand words but I believe I have the start of another story. I will keep you all posted on how that develops.

Anyway, for some reason I really liked what I wrote here yesterday. My main antagonist is stepping out into the rain and just saying that felt flat.

En’nar stepped out into the chemical ridden slurry that passed for rain on this world

I had spent part of the previous paragraph describing the world he is on and that seemed to sum the place up.
