Well, Marissa almost died, there was more fire, Kurt saw Emily's magic first-hand, Kurt's girlfriend is upset with him... We're in a lull between storms.

Now... technically... I probably wrote close to 7000 words today, but I deleted a few chapters after writing them because the story didn't go a direction I was happy with. The characters took things in a weird direction, so it was about time I reined them in. They're behaving themselves now. They're arguing and getting on one another's nerves, because that's what would happen when a bunch of kids have friends die.

Oh, and the MC has to deliver his best friend's eulogy. That's where everything's going to come to a head... I think. Unless Adam doesn't show up.
