Together

I watched as you took that first
bold move.

I watched as you coaxed out our passion,
our enthusiasm,
our experience,
our innovation.

I watched as you nourished
and gently guided, and
graciously followed.

I watched as contributions came from the community,
a chaos of collaboration,
like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle
tipped straight from the box -
seemingly without rhyme or reason.

I watched as we assembled them,
with care,
with love
with respect.

With pride.

I watched,
as together,
we built a rainbow.
