There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories.

Don't Know Why It Happened
Don’t Know Why It Happened

I don’t know what happened with my laptop yesterday. When I got up today to finish writing my WDC Short Story for this month, it was back to normal like nothing happened yesterday. My WDC Short Story was still there where I left off and my blog entry I wrote yesterday was too.

Both of them I did through my Word program and Microsoft 365. I guess that was what saved them. That and The Cloud. Still don’t like The Cloud, but I’m happy that I had it yesterday. If not for The Cloud and for Microsoft 365, I probably wouldn’t have gotten my WDC Short Story finished for this month.

Speaking of my WDC Short Story for this month, I did get it finished, but I’m not quite ready to create it on WDC just yet or enter this contest for a couple of reasons: the time it took to finish it and the rewriting I needed to do took me a little longer to finish it than I thought it would.

Unfortunately, I was slightly wrong again. My brother and I did have a few things that we needed to get done today, but he didn’t tell me about them until after I woke up this morning. As a result, I didn’t get to this WDC Short Story until about the middle of the afternoon. That’s why I barely got it finished today.

It wasn’t too bad, but I did have a little bit of eliminating to do when it comes to this WDC Short Story. That’s the problem with Word Limitations. Especially, when they are two thousand words or less. I often have a big problem sometimes with this Word Limitation.

This was one of those months. That’s one of the reasons why I write most of my short stories in sections/parts. That way I can know how many words I can have in that part/section. It’s usually two hundred words because I normally have ten sections/parts per Short Story. Sometimes it’s a little less, but not too often it’s more.

My WDC Short Story for this month is another ten Part/Section story, and I finally got it finished. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to create it or enter this contest right now. I’ve got to get ready to go back to work at midnight tonight for my Thursday morning shift.

I’m not sure if I can create it and enter this contest within the next four days after I get home from work, but I will try. If I can’t, then I should be able to do it next Monday. My brother and I usually have quite a bit we need to do on my first day off from work, but I still should have time to create and enter this WDC Short Story.
