English Sonnet: "A Love, That Keeps on Loving"

A love, that keeps on loving 'til the end
is proved to be more valuable than gold.
Imperfect more than I could e'er amend
Forgiven all, I'm honored more than told.

How many days the unseen anchor drags
to awful depths, depression can bestow!
How many more might see my heart in rags,
'cept for the loving lady I do know?

A life, that's lived in love forever thrives
because this Love is given from Above.
In wisdom, Love is minced with sage and chives
to flavor days of humanness with love.

A love, that keeps on loving is the best,
tenaciously committed through each test.
