Not a Bad Monday

It was a very typical first day off from work aka a Monday. My brother and I had a lot of things that we needed to do today, and it took us most of the day to do them. As a result, I didn’t get too much writing on my WDC Short Story for this month.

Don’t get me wrong. I did get to work on my WDC Short Story for this month. It was only just not as much as I wanted to get done. I was hoping to get three or four parts/sections finished today. Unfortunately, I only got two of them done today. That also means I need eight more sections/parts to finish this Short Story.

Hopefully, I can get them done in the next couple of days. That’s only four parts/sections per day. I think that I can do it. It all depends on what my brother and I do over the next couple of days. As far as I know, we don’t have anything to do in the next couple of days.

Unfortunately, I have been wrong about that numerous times. So, I’m not going to believe it until it doesn’t happen. If it doesn’t happen, then I should be able to get at least four of the eight sections/parts I can get done tomorrow. Then again, if I can’t then hopefully, I can do some catching up on Wednesday.

I should be able to get at least a couple of more written tomorrow and Wednesday. I’m hoping it will be more than that. After all, I only have five more days off from work to finish this WDC Short Story. The sooner I get it done, the better.

Not because I still have another Short Story to write this month, but because I don’t want to take any chance I won’t get it done by the end of the month. luckily, this is my only Short this month. So, I should be able to get it done by the end of it.

I’m not going to count on anything until it happens, though. I have thought this way before, and something has come up that I didn’t know about with what my brother and I had to get done that day. Of course, I hope that there is nothing that we need to get done tomorrow, but I’m not going to count on it until it doesn’t happen.

If there is nothing that my brother and I need to get done tomorrow or Wednesday, I may be able to get this Short Story done this week. After all, I only have eight more parts/sections to write before I finish writing this Short Story. I can do that in two days.
