Poet's Cafe - a Blood Quill form - An Age Old Story
I could tell you a tale
of dragons and brave knights,
And of pretty little princesses
rescued without fail;
wars fought with all their might;
It beleaguers all real senses.
There is such a battle
between good and evil;
The war's been fought for eternity.
It started with an "apple",
Bringing such upheaval,
Christ fights for us all so fearlessly.
The Blood Quill form of poetry, invented by James T. Henriksen writing on Allpoetry.com, consists of two six-line stanzas with line structures of 6, 6, 9, 6, 6, 9 and a rhyme scheme of abcabc defdef, as described and demonstrated in the following links:
