A Very Typical Monday

Unfortunately, this could be another short blog entry. Then again, it may not be. After all, you never know when it comes to me. Once I start typing these blog entries I often get carried away with my ranting and raving. Sort of what I’m doing right now.

When I start typing these blog entries, I often can’t stop until I finish them, or I get a little over a page of them done. Like most of my blog entries end. Even when I have nothing to write about my blog entries can be quite long. This may end up being one of them. after all, look what I’m doing again: ranting and raving mindlessly.

So, what do I want to write about today in this blog entry? Unfortunately, this has also been a very typical Monday. My brother and I have had a lot of things that we need to get done today. As a result, I didn’t have too much time to do any writing. Normally, that would be a problem.

It’s not that big of a problem for me today. Typically, I’m working on one of my short stories today, but this is only the second day of the month. None of my normal short stories have been prompted yet. One I’m not surprised about. It may be this weekend before it’s prompted. If it’s not even later than that.

The WDC Short Story contest usually has a prompt by now. Sometimes it can take a couple of days before it is prompted, but it usually isn’t more than that. If I remember correctly, it was done three days later, but it hasn’t happened too often. This may be one of those months.

There is one contest that started a few days ago for this month, that I could be working on today. If I had the time to do it. It’s not a surprise that the prompt has to do with Halloween and trick-or-treating. That’s kind of hard to do with the SpaceHorrors theme I have been writing about lately. Hard, but not impossible.

See what I mean, I thought this was going to be another short blog entry, and it’s not. It may not be one of my longer ones, but it’s not a short one either. It’s kind of in between. Only closer to a long blog entry than a short one. Every close to one of my longest ones.
