Just things that I think about now and then. |
So I've been working on new forms of poetry. Some of them aren't too bad, and some tax my mind just a tad, LOL. I guess that's a good thing, right? I've entered a couple of contests, and I haven't done as many reviews as I would like, since I've been helping Jody out with her 2023 Review Raffle for WdC Birthday Celebrations. I have to admit that I've found some wonderful styles for reviewing, and it has inspired me to do better in my own reviews. I've been working on crocheting projects, and have been busy turning yarn into small decorative pillows for the holidays. I've also been working on a few scarves. My grandchildren have been busy at school. Mason 12, is in 6th grade, and is learning the Tenor Saxophone in band. Vivian, 11 (5th grade) is in her school's choir for the second year. Sam, (10 on Oct 24) is in 4th grade. He is being home-schooled this year; is adjusting to his meds and is doing well. My daughter told me he is 5'1" while Vivian is 5'2" (almost up to my height of 5'3" ) My youngest, Adaline is 6, in 1st grade, and insisted on reading me a story over the phone. She is sounding out her letters and doing well. She is also learning the violin. I have a bunch of smart grandchildren! I am so very proud of them! I have a wonderful friend who is encouraging me in my Crochet journey. She is on vacation in Hawaii right now and I couldn't be happier for her. She has come a long way, in her life, and has gone through horror like no one should have to endure. But she has come out on the other side, I think; and I love her dearly. Meds taken, posts are up to date so far, and I will be doing some shopping with my daughter for groceries later this morning. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. |
