Tonight, I went classic but added my own twists to it. 🍄I encourage everyone to ignore what you were told growing up and dare to play with your food! Don't be afraid to try new things or to add your own unique touch to something. Discover something delicious right in your very own kitchen. 🥒🥕🌰🥗🧀🍤🐠🌮🌶️ The following makes two large dinner salads or four side salads. YOU NEED: 2 boneless chicken breasts 2 tablespoons of oil Salt & pepper to taste 🍳In a skillet, heat the oil. Butterfly your breasts and lay them flat. Season and add to the pan. Cook until both sides a golden brown and no pink remains. Remove from heat and let rest. 🥗Now you need: 1 romaine lettuce heart chopped 1/2 yellow bell pepper diced 1/2 small English cucumber diced 1 Roma tomato diced 1/3 cup shredded carrots 6 mushrooms sliced 2 tablespoons of bacon pieces 2 tablespoons finely chopped pecans 11/2 cups Ranch dressing. In a large salad bowl combine all your chopped veggies,bacon and nuts. Cut your cooled chicken into bite size pieces and add to veggies, then add dressing and gently toss until everything is well mixed. You may add more dressing if desired. Chill for at least thirty minutes. I let ours chill a few hours. Radishes, saltine crackers and hot peppers were served on the side. Icy cold unsweetened honey camomile tea to drink. My dogs got about half my salad! Yes, even they enjoyed this delicious dinner.❤️ 🦋My husband commented tonight he never knew certain veggies can be eaten raw.
