One Day Early Didn’t Help Much

It hasn’t been a typical Wednesday, but it hasn’t been an untypical one either. What I mean by that was that my brother and I had a few things that we needed to get done today, but it didn’t take us too long to do them. As a result, I didn’t have too much time to work on my second Short Story for this month.

Most of what my brother and I needed to get done today was done by the middle of the afternoon. That should have given me long enough to get one or two section(s)/part(s) done today. If it was the last couple of days, I probably would have gotten at least one part/section done. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a Monday or Tuesday.

Today was a Wednesday. So, it wasn’t just what my brother and I needed to get done today. it was also me getting ready for work tonight at midnight for my Thursday morning shift at work. Between me getting ready for work and what my brother and I had to do today, that is the reason why I didn’t have the time to work on my second Short Story.

That’s not all bad news, though. If this was next Monday, then it may be a problem. After all, my two weeks of days off aka Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday don’t start until next Monday. Today was kind of a freebee. That means any writing I got done today would have been a bonus. An extra day I would have had to get this second Short Story done.

Of course, getting this second Short Story done by the end of the month could still be a problem. I don’t think that it will, though. After all, I have thought that for the last two or three short stories, and I got them done before the end of the month. There is no reason why I can’t do it again. I should get it done in plenty of time.

It’s not time for me to panic about that yet. It all depends on how much of this second Short Story that I get done in my next three days off of work. If I can get most of it done by the end of next Wednesday, I should be able to get it done by the end of the month. especially, since I will have a few days before the end of this month.

I’m hoping to get it done by next Wednesday. The way it has been going lately, there’s a very good chance that I can do that. That means I need to get three or four parts/sections written each day. At least one of them needs to be four. It would be better if they were all fours, but I’m not going to count on that happening until it does.
