BCoF - Is Knowing Everything Worth It?
In today's hyper competitive world, not having an answer could be cringe-worthy. Schools are crammed with people who want to "know" and there are specializations everywhere for those who want to "know more".
The phrase, "I don't know" can cause a loss of confidence the one making the declaration. That somehow, they are lazy or don't care about the subject they are being asked about. It may or may not be true, but perception is everything, right?
Personally, I think it is ok to not always know something. It means that one is a human being - with all of the quirks and fallibility that comes with it. I mean, you can temper it by saying, "but I will research it and get back to you". How did not knowing something become a bad thing?
Just some of my thoughts on the subject.
Why do you think people are so afraid to simply say, I don't know!
