Viewpoints

To see a subject just one way
requires just one eye,
but through the left and right we say,
"This Truth we can't deny."

"But what about The Son of God,
Who is the only Way?
There's just one view, this One we laud,
and seek to e'er obey?"

"He is The One on Whom we set
our hopes, and hope to live.
We work for Him and wonder yet
about the Work He gives."

"My soul He saves by standing here,
without one thing to do?
Or are good works to be held dear,
eternally so true?"

The thing we know from here to there
is Jesus, He must save,
but do I work for Him to share
His Home beyond the grave?

Now, do I work as one redeemed,
to show I am made new?
Is He forever all esteemed
as One, Whose Work is through?

If faith and works are always blest,
and Jesus, He is Lord,
then we will place them where they're best,
according to His Word.
