oookay

I see it but I don't understand.
It is something beyond my mental command.
Flowers and lace, mask on her face,
it tells a story but I can't keep pace.

So much white, so much light,
so why do I see something dark that's a fright?
It is just too much of whatever it may be.
The picture taker is out of mind and I can't see.

Why on a beach?
Why did her skin they bleach?
I am so confused
as to why this picture was used.
