I don’t have twelve eggs
I don’t need ten servings
I don’t want to feed others
Who are clearly undeserving
I just want a little bit
Just enough for me
Not even enough remaining
For snacking with my tea
I’m glad I learned my fractions
For recipe makeovers
To avoid the dreaded problems
That come with leftovers
