Nothing to Write About Again

Unfortunately, I don’t have anything to write about today again. Except for this blog entry I haven’t had the time to get on my laptop. Let alone get any writing done on my WDC Short Story for this month. Luckily, I have three more weeks of days off to finish it. That’s nine days to finish it.

Only I don’t have nine days. Unless this was the only Short Story, I was writing this month. Hopefully, it won’t be. I’ve got at least one more Short Story that I want to write this month. Probably two more if one of my regular short stories decides to put up a prompt for this month.

This regular contest hasn’t put up a prompt yet. At least not as of this blog entry writing. That was about a half hour ago. It will come out. Probably be over this weekend. Hopefully, it will come out before then, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t this weekend before it came out.

If it comes out at all this month. It hasn’t happened too often, but this contest has gone on hiatus for a month or so. This could be one of these months or months. I’m guessing there will be a prompt this month. It’s just when it will happen, I’m not sure about. Hopefully, it will be sooner rather than later.

Why haven’t I got any writing done on my WDC Short Story for this month? What is the usual reason? That’s right. It’s because of what my brother and I needed to get done today. Normally, on Wednesdays, I get to relax before I go to work at midnight tonight for a Thursday morning shift.

Unfortunately, needing to get this done today wasn’t the only reason why I didn’t get any writing done today except for this blog entry. It’s the main reason, but it’s not the only one. I don’t know why, but I didn’t get too much sleep last night. That also is a reason I didn’t any more writing done today.

What very little time I had late this afternoon and evening, I spent in trying to catch up a little bit when it comes to sleeping. If this happened the last three days, it would be that big of a problem, but it happened during my work week. I need my sleep since I work the graveyard shift at work.

Whether it’s two or three short stories this month, I still have nine days off to write them. I shouldn’t have any problems in doing this. Especially, if it’s only two. If it is three, I may have a problem. It shouldn’t be, though. After all, I did it last month. I should be able to do it this month too.
